Hi everyone :P

As always this assignment is open to EVERYONE who is reading the forum.
Our lesson never end so if you find this late, please feel free to add your image.

Remember.... if you see an image that you like, please leave a comment for your fellow students.
Everyone likes a pat on the back.

We had so many participate last week, I need to take a moment and say Thank You!
There is no right or wrong process here. The point of the creative homework is... to be Kreative!!
Just Jump in and Have Fun!! :biggrin:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been playing around with getting an old color tint to my images. This week we will work where I have gotten so far. If you have anything to add.... please do.
Work your normal processing
Hit the letter D to set your colors to your default colors
Apply a gradient map adjustment layer. Lower opacity to 50%.
Create a new blank layer.
Open the foreground color in your color picker. Type in this hex code in the bottom box. 3f2c02
Alt backspace will fill the layer. Change your blend mode to soft light. Reduce opacity between 40 -50%.
Let's see what you think.
Here is what I came up with. I probably should have used a photo with people in it.
I like it a lot! :biggrin:
Did you find it hard? Wondering why we only have one image?
I followed the steps & added only a stroke in 3f2c02. The effect worked nicely on this image & emphasized the butterfly & flowers. I felt the before image (straight from the camera) really needed something, but wasn't sure what.
Thanks, Kimi
BJ... wow! Using the brown layer on soft light adds quite a contrast bump.
It looks great! :P
