There is no right or wrong process here. The point of the creative homework is... to be Kreative!!
Just Jump in and Have Fun!!

A reminder.... this is not really homework. (it is just called homework) These exercises are open to everyone. Hope to see lots of entries!

ah.... the beginning of summer reruns! :rotfl:

This week we need to THANK Anita (westiemom) for her Sketch directions. Here are her directions...

Ctrl J to copy.
Ctrl+Shift+U to remove color.
Ctrl J to copy the black and white layer. On this layer Ctrl I to invert.
Change the blend mode on inverted layer to Color Dodge.
Go to Filter, Other, Minimum. I used 4 pixels or so.

Now go back to original layer( the one with color).
Ctrl J to copy.
Drag that layer to the top and reduce the opacity.
Merge the top three layers so you're left with two layers.
Ctrl J to copy.
Go to Filter, Artistic, Poster Edges.
Play with the opacity until you get something you like.

I followed the original instructions then....
I added a curve layer, a soft light layer and another filter but I don't remember which one it was.
(something about fiber length?)

Then I opened a bunch of hue/sat layers and desaturated the background colors. (green & yellow) and I bumped up the red and blue.

Thanks for the tutorial, Kimi.
---- Well, I don't know where all the others are. I guess I'll go next - after Kimi-- (reluctantly).
